Research tells us that children are more susceptible to temptations between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.—the hours following the end of the school day when parents are not yet home from work.
Our young artists programs effectively counteract this with after school workshops and summer programs. We offer both in house art workshops and courses in collaboration with community centers and other non-profits. These workshops are designed to make up for the deficit in arts programming to provide underprivileged youth with healthy and creative outlets in a safe after school environment. At the end of each session, individuals incorporate the skills learned to create their own masterpiece to take home!

I HAVE A DREAM...
ENCINITAS COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL
DT Atelier celebrated Martin Luther King Jr Day with Miss Keara's class at Encinitas Country Day School! We taught the kids about MLK & his role in the Civil Right movement and then wrote our dreams on a tile with a replica of the soles of his shoes.
